Honda IndyCar Race Series Mobile Trailer Video Game

An endless runner type game I produced for deploy at Honda IndyCar races. In it, the user controls a character in an IndyCar racing fire suit as it runs against the clock. The character passes through different environments and races a variety of a vehicles and equipment, including a car, dirt bike, boat, jet, and lawnmower. Passing through a “power up” point allows the user to answer a multiple-choice question about Honda products. Correctly answering gives the character a speed boost.

 
 

IndyCar Honda Racer Game

An endless runner type game in which the user controls a character in a racing fire suit as it runs down the clock through several environments, racing in turn a lawnmower, jet, dirt bike, boat and car. Passing through a “power up” point allows the user to answer a multiple-choice question about Honda products. Correctly answering gives a speed boost the the character. 

  • Timeline: 2.5 months
  • Deliverables: 3D Game build in Unity integration with RFID consumer journey, hardware, software install and tech support for 6 deploys through season. 
  • Challenges: Fixed budget and very short timeframe to concept with various changes from originally scoped content, multiple client stakeholders in various Honda holdings. 
  • Solutions: Used and rebooked trusted affordable external dev vendor and in-house designer, communicated and held to limited client revisions with urgency communicated for all deadlines.
  • Result: Very pleased clients and relevant branded game for all ages bringing life to IndyCar space for multiple seasons.
